HOW DO WE BECOME A MEMBER?

EPC membership is available to all public school boards of education, educational service centers, public boards of mental retardation and such chartered non-public schools as are organized as non-profit entities who are located in Ohio.  Affiliate membership is open to entities outside Southwestern Ohio provided such program is not offered by the consortium in which they are a member and provided their consortium is a member of the Ohio Council of Educational Purchasing Consortia.  
 
The EPC currently serves 180 member school districts/organizations in 26 counties of Ohio and 1 in Kentucky. We solicit bids for educational-related products/services and provide them to each of our members for voluntary participation.

Products & Services include:  Audio Visual/Technology Products, Classroom & Office Supplies, Copy Paper, Custodial/Facility Supplies, Drug & Alcohol Testing, Federal Food Commodity Diversion Program, Food Service (includes Bakery, Dairy, Food Products, Ice Cream, Paper/Plastics and Small Wares), Furniture (for Offices & Classrooms), Lamps & Ballasts, Liability Fleet & Property Insurances, Library Books, Long Distance, Medical/Clinic Supplies, Paints, School Buses, School Bus Cameras, Transportation Supplies, Utilities (Electricity & Natural Gas) and Vechiles such as Passenger Vans and Pickup Trucks. In addition to these areas we offer Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance programs. 

The EPC also has an affiliate membership with the AEPA (Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies) that brings additional areas of discounted pricing which include:  Administrative Software, Athletic Field Turf & Surfacing, Athletic & Recreational Lighting, Classroom/Office Supplies, Copiers, Custodial Restroom, Break Room & Safety Catalog, Furniture, Hardwood & Synthetic Flooring, Industrial Arts & Career Supplies Catalog, Interactive Classroom/Meeting Presentation Technology Catalog, Kitchen Supplies & Equipment, Live Finger Print Scan & Palm Scan, Maintenance& Repair Operations, Mobile Learning Solutions, Office Supply Catalog, Roofing & Building Envelope, Scoreboard & Marquee Signage, Sports Equipment Catalog, Technology Catalog, Track & Court Surfaces and WalkThrough Metal Detectors.  
 
The Membership year runs from July 1st to June 30th. Starting with the 2016-2017 School year we began waiving EPC Membership Fees.  So there is zero cost to join the EPC.  

If you decide you would like to become a member of the EPC, please send us a letter requesting membership on your school letterhead.  Your request for membership will be brought before the EPC Executive Board for approval at their next meeting.  A welcome letter and an invoice for membership fee will be sent out after approval.
