You will earn 16 CEU Credits upon completion of this training.

All food service operations including: concession stands, where anything other than pre-packaged ready-to-eat foods are sold, are required to have at least one person with the Ohio Manager Certification in Food Protection.  This person must have the supervisory responsibility and authority to direct and control food preparation and service.  This approved course (16 hours total) taught by Carol Marples, EPC Trainer, will provide the required Certification upon course completion and success on the written exam.  Cost includes required course materials.

Carol Marples, EPC Trainer, will present "Common Mistakes in Child Nutrition Programs" as a Pre-Vendor Fair Professional Development Class.  Carol, through her experiences as a Child Nutrition Specialist at the Ohio Department of Education, has keen insight on common issues and ways to correct them to help your program be successful.  Recently Carol worked with 4 area school districts with their Administrative Reviews.  All 4 districts received PERFECT results!  There will be a wide range of topics discussed.  This session is designed for Cooks, Managers and Directors.

Carol Marples, EPC Trainer, will present an "Administrative Review & Procurement Review Tips" class at the EPC Office.  If you are scheduled for a review in 2019-20 or if you just want to get a refresher on the National School Lunch & Breakfast Programs, please plan to attend.  It will be a great way to get back in the swing for a new school year and network with others.  It will also provide 4 hours of professional standards training.  This class is geared towards Directors for all are welcome to attend!

Carol Marples, EPC Trainer, will review the basic regulations of the National School Lunch & Breakfast Program.  Topics to be covered include Meal Pattern Review, Offer Vs Serve, Production Records, Food Cost Controls, Civil Rights and HACCP Food Safety among others.  It will be a great training for new or experienced staff members and provides 4 hours of Professional Standards Training.  This class is geared towards Mangers and Cooks but all are welcome.
